I placed an on-line order to an on-line ad for OOFOS shoes on July 19th, paying with my Discover card. The card was charged and payment made that day to IMOBI TECHNOLOGIES CO LT HONG KONG HKG. IMOBI is a technology company, and while I wondered why the payment for shoes was made to a technology company that very day, and wondering the companies relationship to OOFOS, I just figured there was some type of Chinese business relationship between the two companies. Needless to say, the sight was a scam. OOFOS tells me they regret that it happened, and offered me 20% off on a future order. (I've received on-line ads from OOFOS since, and they have offered the 20% off to the general public.) Needless to say, [email protected] assures me the order has been shipped and requests me to BE PATIENT after contacting his/her e-mail address MANY times, He/She is very concerned that my order hasn't been delivered yet. The USPS informs me the tracking number [email protected] gave me is a scam tracking number and they manipulate the messages shown when you try using the number to track your order. ALSO NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NOT place another OOFOS order on line, and suggest ALL be very leery of doing so.
