I have attempted to file a complaint on the BBB website and because there is no street address for the business it will not allow me to complete the complaint. Assuming you will also want a short narrative of what the complaint is focused on please see the following information: HALO Consulting is the business name, the phone number is 336-553-9565. Their website is very vague, their email address is [email protected] . CEO name is Hannah O. This organization hires young people to join them in a lengthy training program which requires many hours of access virtually for classes for weeks. Then the expectation is to perform shorter trainings in the morning virtually then go to the dedicated geographic location decided than morning. For a month, this same routine required driving a personal vehicle 30+ miles to destinations to perform door to door sales for AT&T, Spectrum and whomever else they were attached to. The fear of going door to door was very relevant to leaving this position after a female trainee had a gun pulled on her and this was shared with all new trainees with no guidance on how to stay safe. The decision to leave was the safest option. No receipt of any monies in form of a paycheck has been offered even after multiple times of asking. Always given the run around and “I’ll have to check” or “I’ll call you back” or “they are not in the office right now”. Please help me investigate this company for fraud and refusal to pay for 160 or more hours of training that occurred Monday through Saturday for over 10 hours each day. Not even knowing how much earnings to file for unemployment doesn’t help either. Thank you kindly.
