Description

I had air ticket to Denver purchased by my daughter and the reservation had the wrong middle initial. I googled United Airlines for a telephone number to contact and correct the initial. Somehow my google search lead me to a phone number to flywithcloud.com…I thought I was speaking with a UAL representative and provided my flight confirmation number. The individual I spoke to said the cost to change the initial would be $175 each way. $350 total. The flight was only a couple days away so I felt compelled to get the initial corrected before going to the airport. I paid it and agreed to pay it so I cannot dispute the charge on my credit card. However, during my trip (and before returning from Denver) I contacted United Air and was told they don’t charge a fee for this type of change. I contacted flywithcloud that same day (before traveling) and was told the money was sent to United Air. I figured I’d get my money back from United once they got it. To this day United airlines has not received any money for this change. I acknowledge I’m out $350 but I just want others to know and avoid flywithcloud.com.
