I was part of a facebook group called Maine Coon's for adoption and rehoming. I approached what appeared to be a breeder by the name of Sandra Miles, she had kittens looking for homes with a cost of $800 per kitten. I choose what I wanted and supplied a $400 deposit on 11/28/23. A courier delivery service was arranged by Sandra Miles for the following evening of 11/29/23. A courier Co. contacted me with a tracking # SFS003840034596 through inter-continentaltransport.com. They then asked for a refundable insurance amount of $1,000. The $1,000 would be refunded on delivery of kitten. The money was then sent. Once courier confirmed confirmation of delivery Sandra Miles requested the balance of $400 be paid. The money was sent. The courier service then asked for an additional $500 for documents and that would also be refunded on delivery. I informed both the courier and Sandra Miles that no further funds would be sent. At that time all communication went silent. I left messages and voicemails with both.
