On November 14, 2023, I purches round trip air fear ticket from JFK to South Caroliner for a total of $303.00 including tax. On November 15, 2023, a Fare Barber employee contacted me saying that the $303.00 I paid for the air fear via their agency, was no longer available and if I wanted to keep the booking I needed to pay an additional $49.00. I told here that It was advertised for a price I paid for and could not understand how the price could change after I made the payment? My itinerary documentation and confirmation from my credit card company shows that my payment transaction was correct. However, the credit card company advice that their was two transactions made on my card, one payment to the airline and another to for Fare Barber for $49.00. Needleless to say that I was not going to fall for the bait and switch tactic and canceled the transaction. My business trip was badly inconvenience by Fare Barber business practice.
