Sent my contact data through a form to scammer after clicking clickbait promise of dream personal shopper telejob on Reddit. Scammer contacted me and "onboarded" me. The job was (allegedly) about increasing the performance of products on https://spartoo.club. The method was buying any kind of products on the site with money they gave you. Each product you bought for the site itself added a commission to your account, you could cash out the earnings on a daily basis. Here are all the red flags: Spartoo.Club isn't associated with Spartoo.com the legitimate site The copy in the About page is very generic, fishy, and talks about Spartoo as a 3rd party All transactions are conducted in the scammer's website, it's just a fool's errand to disarm your defenses When you accumulate $150-200 in commissions is when the actual scam triggers, they ask you to send them x amount of dollars in crypto allegedly to recharge your account, so you can continue shopping and cash out, and they promise to give it back to you along your daily earnings These are the instructions they sent me when they "onboarded" me: Order description 1.Each account can match 38 orders per day 2.The commission for placing an order is uniform and equals to 1.00% of the total order amount 3.The system is based on LBS technology and automatically matches goods through cloud computing 4.In order to prevent platform supervision, if the order is not confirmed and submitted within 30 minutes, the system will freeze the order amount 5.You cannot cancel the task. You must first complete any existing unfinished tasks before you can receive new ones.
