In April 2023, I ordered a device called "Heater Reader", which is supposed to control a pool heater pump via wifi. As requested I paid in advance, the credit card payment did not work so I paid by e-transfer. I never received the device (many different reasons were given, the response to emails was very slow) so in July 2023 I cancelled my order and was told I would get a refund. I have not received my refund yet. Occasionally I receive an answer to my emails with explanations as to why I have not received the money yet. When I looked up "Heater Reader" on facebook, I saw that there are several previous clients describing exactly my scenario, i.e. never receiving the device and not getting their money back. This seems to be their business model (although a couple of individuals said they did receive a refund after a long time) One particular individual said that he was able to identify the owners of the business and obtain their names, address and telephone number. The owner's names are Don Freer and Tanya Leshuk. Her cell phone is 705 259 3751. Also, she works at Summertime pool service 905 471 7946.
