Description

I received an email stating they have come across my résumé on one of the job sites (Indeed, Career Builder, LinkedIn) and I thought I would be a good fit for their company. The email went on to describe a little bit about the position and ask if I was interested to respond to the email or there was a number that I could call. I responded to the email and talked to Daya on the phone regarding the position, signed an employment agreement, I filled out a W-4 form and took a snapshot of my drivers license, front and back. I was then contacted through the HR department regarding how I would be paid which would be a paper check received once monthly. I filled out the needed information for HR and where to mail my check. I was told I would be working from a dashboard and needed to download it onto my computer so I did, and I set up my accounts I received a message through the dashboard, saying that it had been added properly, and I was set up to begin receiving packages. I was to open the package take a picture of it upload it to the dashboard, re-package the package, I could use the same box if it wasn’t damaged, print out a new shipping label which I downloaded from the dashboard, and either drop off at UPS FedEx or USPS. The first two packages were smooth. No problem at all. The third package is why I’m contacting BBB. An elderly man showed up at my house at 8:3 one morning asking for me. I had no idea who this man was he had my name and my address and had been fraudulently charged for an iPad from Apple and my info was on the shipping label. His credit card company had notified him via email and that it was going to be delivered to my address that day. The elderly man who have been fraudulently charged, had no idea that I was supposed to be receiving an iPad through the Atticus-Logistic dashboard. Coincidence? I don’t think so! I have tried to get in touch with all of the shipping managers listed and left numerous voicemail messages. My calls are not being answered or returned. I have also requested a call back on the message board which is on the dashboard. No body is returning my calls. The money I lost was in gas and buying supplies. After the company wouldn’t return a call regarding a fraudulent package I became suspicious and started asking around and my son looked it up on Reddit and of course it’s a scam. I contacted a friend of mine who is really big in computers and Atticus logistic has only had their domain one month, so yeah it’s pretty much a scam.
