They called my number, gave me the last four of my Social Sec number. Sent me an Email stating I owed a loan from 2019 using an address and job I have 7 or 8 Years ago. They said they were a company called Remedy Mediation Solutions trying to figure out and help me with an outstanding balance that is currently in the amount of $683. They said due to a contact tractional obligation I signed with the financial institutions I am obligated to leave any accounts with the financial institution at a zero balance in order to not become a candidate for a chex systems. They gave me the name Missy Smith as an account representative and gave me a toll free number of 855-485-6689. I was told from this account representative that if I paid $$400 today it will keep me from having to pay the $2800 in legal fees when they take me to court for this balance. I have never taken out any loans but student loans and i am not delinquent in any of them. They kept talking about me making a settlement payment today and every time I questioned this they gave me old information all they have is information from years ago and basic information that I have now like what street I live on but not the number and I have no idea how they got the last four numbers of my social.
