When I searched the internet for a company that I could do a vin # search for a vehicle, it stated that it would cost $1.00. When I put in my credit card info, it kicked it out stating there was a problem with the entry. I went back in and resubmitted the card info and it kicked it out again stating the info was incorrect. When I checked the info, everything was right. I decided not to go with this website and I closed the website. I instantly got a fraud alert from my credit card company stating that there was a $28.95 charge from this website. The company on this website, CARHISTORYUSA.COM, took it upon themselves to charge me the yearly fee, even though it showed that my credit card info was incorrect and kicked it out. They made it look like the card info was incorrect so they could charge me the yearly fee even though my card info was showing was correct. This is a deceptive company and they even make it look credible with an Indiana insignia making you think it was through the bmv.
