I received multiple text messages stating that my Marketplace (New York) health coverage would be terminated by 9/22 and to contact (888) 473-0604. When I eventually did call, the company stated that they were with the NY Marketplace (NY State of Health) and that my Empire Blue Cross HMO plan would be going up by over $200 starting October 1 and instead they could enroll me in a Multiplan PPO plan. I inquired multiple times on the phone with them that they were indeed NY Marketplace (NY State of Health) and the representative I spoke with, Haley G******, Employer ID # Emp7*1*3*, assured me that it was the state. But, when I followed up with Empire Blue Cross, they connected me with the true NY Marketplace which was not this company and BCBS stated that my health plan will not be changing. The company sold me a healthcare policy by lying to me stating they were from NY Marketplace and that my Blue Cross insurance was changing, just to sell me a policy and cancel the old one. The company that lied and committed the scam was Value Owl Marketing and Innovative Partners LP. Watch out for Innovative Partners LP - they work with insurance agents that they know are scamming people into switching healthcare plans by pretending to be state officials!
