This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
They told me that my warranty had expired and they were adjusting the price on an extended warranty. They wanted my credit card information to charge me an extended warranty of up to six thousand dollars a year. A complete scam.
