Make You Fluent is heavily advertised on Facebook. It is advertised as an AI product that helps with language learning. I am studying Spanish. It seemed to address all the things I was looking for from a language learning perspective. I signed up for 6 months at $49.99. The terms and conditions were clear that there were no refunds but the website and emails seemed professional, so I went forward (I know, I should have known better.) I was given a link to use on my iPhone to access the service. It brought me to a website that I couldn't move around on so I was never able to load the app on my phone. The service is not designed to use from a computer. At that point I went online to check out reviews. There were a number of reviews that said the service was a scam (www.trustpilot.com.) I immediately requested a refund, but they said they couldn't provide one because it is a digital product (which I don't understand.) They then said that they will make an exception and give me a 30% refund. Assuming I get the refund, my total outlay will only be $35 so I am not so concerned about the loss of money but more the possibility that this is a scam that should be stopped.
