I am legal counsel for Zynex Medical, Inc., a medical device company based in Englewood, Colorado. Beginning September 26, 2023, our HR department received reports from at least three individuals that someone using the name James Legg had reached out to them via email to schedule interviews for a remote data analyst position. Zynex does not have an employee by that name, does not hire remote data analysts, and does not own the domain name “zynexcareers.com.” The imposter is using the email addresses [email protected] and [email protected], is interviewing candidates via RingCentral through the instant messaging tool, and then sending job offers using Zynex’s logo and company information. The offer letter fraudulently purports to be from Steve Fox, our current VP of Sales. We believe they are seeking individual's personal information, and do not know whether they are asking individuals to pay or send money.
