Description

There was an Ad, using Tom Selleck as spokes person, selling CBD Gummies. They claim to help with pain, improve sleep, reduce anxiety and improve relaxation. I ordered for pain relief. The ad stated you could buy 3 bottles at $39,95 each and receive 2 free. I should have known it was a scam when the total cost came to $199.99. That was bad enough, but I reasoned if it helped my pain I would try it. I used my debit card, money was withdrawn from my account and I received the gummies. I used the first bottle and never could tell any difference. Then, in 30 days they took another $199.99 out of my bank account. I check my account every day, so I called them that very day. His first question was "did you read the policy (whatever you call it that you're supposed to read when purchasing something)". I told him I thought I did. He said that if I did not want further purchases I had 30 days to cancel. I said I saw I had 30 days to cancel, but it did not state that it would be a recurring order if I did not cancel. He cancelled my "subscription", and gave me a cancellation number. He then told me that when I received the order to call them back and get a "return code" then I could return them for a refund. It was Aug. 10, 2023 when I spoke to him (AOS Support) at 855-866-5596. When I hadn't received them by Sept. 6, 2023 I called them again. I spoke to a girl this time, and she basically told me the same thing, I told her that if they had been sent they were taking an awfully long time to get here. Of course, she said they were experiencing huge demand, and said they should be here in 3 to 5 business days and no later than the 13th. She also said I would receive an email, but I never received an email the first time. Needless to say I still don't have them and feel it is useless to call them again. I believe the scam is, they charge you for another order, when you call to complain they "tell" you that when you get them to call for a code and when they get them back they will issue you a refund. They know you will not get the next order so therefore, you will never get your money back. Hopefully by telling the BBB, it may prevent someone else falling for this scam.
