I ordered a multi-functional cart from an ad on Pinterest from a company calling itself Ooctaviat on July 13th, 2023. Ad says they are based in California, USA and I would get the cart in 3-7 business days. I got an email stating it was shippedby HM Warehousing Distribution Service Limited on July 20th, 2023 with a tracking #AG937355275CN. When I tracked the package the website came up TRACK718 and the item was coming from China. On July 31st I received an unknown package from EB/Shipping Dept of Ontario, CA91761 containing a chintzy pink little backpack with the same tracking #AG937355275CN as the cart I ordered. On September 1st, 2023 I started e-mailing the only e-mail I could find to contact them- [email protected]. I traded e-mails with them on September 4th, 6th, 7th and 13th, 2023. Each response from the company was different either offering me 100%, then 70%, then 80% and finally no refund. Their argument is that the tracking # shows delivered so they owe me nothing. Of course it shows delivered, of the crappy pink little backpack. I realize now that I am just going to keep getting e-mail responses to string me along. I need help to stop this company. The ad is still on social media (Pinterest, Facebook) but not under the Ooctaviat name anymore. I seen the same website come up but under the names taoaz, zasukea and lopuda.
