This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I received an email that I had an invoice that wasn’t paid for$950. I called the 802 area code number and they answered they were paypal. They said it was for a laptop. I said I didn’t order one. They said I had a scam on my account from Columbus,Ohio. How is that what is said so quickly and if there is why would they say at first that I have an invoice if something is a scam. But I didn’t say anything to see what else they had to say. They said they needed to see what was going wrong and to open my APP. I suddenly remembered they can access things if you open APPS and things. And I faltered. But then I remembered it was a different account than I use at all. The one spoken about had problems from other issues and I couldn’t use it. So that probably wouldn’t even be true someone could try to bill me. I said to him that my PayPal APP opens a different account and he hung up on me!
