I applied for a job on LinkedIn and was contacted via email. I was offered the position of Executive Assistant and signed an offer letter. I started working on 7/17/23 remotely. I was asked to research sales tax and canvas printing companies in different cities/states where he had current clients. I was asked to purchase gift cards with my credit card for the Founder to use online to purchase promotional materials cheaper on eBay. I was supplied with a bank account number and bank name to reimburse the amounts on my credit card. Initially, the payments went through so I continued working for about 3 weeks. I was asking about when I would be paid. Shortly after that, the payments to my credit card were reversed/cancelled. I contacted the Founder and was told there was a glitch with the bank and he was going to take care of it. That was the last I heard from him. His name is Mark Bratovich. He owes me $4976 in expenses and $1600 in pay. I'm now in dire straights and still unemployed. My credit has taken a hard hit and I can't pay my credit card bill. I need HELP PLEASE!!!! I have all cards that I purchased and all receipts along with every communication I have had with this person.
