Description

On August 8th, I purchased the Travel Agent course, but have only received two used workbooks. I was supposed to receive 4 books in total (presumably new). Considering the cost, I expected better service. Therefore, I feel justified in my frustration. It has been almost a month since I enrolled in the course, but I have not yet received the 2 textbooks needed to begin the courses. I reached out to ask for a refund. Someone named Lee called me today (in response to my refund inquiry) and said that they do not have an ETA on when the textbooks will be shipped and was sorry about sending me the 2 used workbooks. I then asked them verbally to provide me with a refund and I feel like I have been scammed. He sent me an email stating that I am not eligible for a refund because their policy states, you cannot request a refund after 10 days. My response was their policy also states that I will receive all (4) books within 7 - 10 business days after my enrollment (the 10th day was Aug. 22nd). I cannot even begin the courses with the 2 used workbooks that I received, I need the 2 textbooks. Travel Career Development, by The Travel Institute NEVER RECEIVED Travel Career Development Student Workbook RECEIVED USED Exploring the World, by Nona Starr and Talula Guntner NEVER RECEIVED Exploring the World Student Workbook RECEIVED USED This 6-month course cost me $2,345.00 and I have no ETA of when I will receive the books needed to begin. This is fraud.
