Description
I received a text from Elizabeth Willson “reaching out in regards to your job application of a remote data entry clerk…$27 per hour…if interested send your resume to [email protected]”. I sent my resume immediately an email conversation ensued with “Elizabeth Willson”. After several emails, one asked me to complete an assessment (http://careers.newalliancebio.com/assessment) as well as an employee form (https://forms.office.com/r/h37wvCanJZ ). All of this took place on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12:25 PM. On Monday, August 28, 2023 at 7:32 AM (quick turnaround) I received a text message from Elizabeth saying they wanted to offer me the job and an email with a “Blockchain 4DataEntry” video and an offer letter. I had a gut feeling this was a scam. They did not even interview me! After reading other posts on BBB website, I realized that New Alliance must have been formally Vasade Bio Sciences (if you say “vasade” out loud, it sounds like the word “façade”….very fitting). The offer letter verbiage was the EXACT same as mentioned in the other posts on BBB website. Their website is very legit looking www.newalliancebio.com. This is a very sophisticated scam. All the red flags you are supposed to look for were not there. Their info on LinkedIn is minimal. If you do a Google search of the address on the offer letter (110 Founders Mill Ct, Roswell, GA 30075) you will see a street view of garages beneath windows of what looks to be an apartment complex.
