Description

I needed tech support from Hewlitt Packard. I was on their site when assistance chat popped up. Asked for my name and phone. He called me. Thinking I was on phone with HP, I allowed him to remote into computer. (Dumb dumb dumb). He didn’t even attempt to help me set up my printer. He said my computer had Trojan horse and in order to fix it, he wanted to download software on my computer. I knew at this point, I did a dumb thing and hung up. He used ultra view to remote in. I just hope he didn’t get any info off my computer :-{
