I used my Discover card to buy a short term medical insurance plan from "getmecare" insurance - a company I found online. the person sounded very sketchy but he told me about a short term medical insurance plan I could buy so I purchased it and paid with my Discover card, calling on my phone which I have service on thru ATT. A day later because I wasn't feeling good about the purchase I canceled the policy and they refunded my money. A month later $287.79 was charged to my Discover card by "ATT Cons Phn Pmt PDCC SW" doing business as Trinity Fountain of Lakeland FL. I disputed the amount with Discover but they are now siding with this Trinity Fountain place saying they are the cardholder of my Discover card. Discover is claiming the account has been active since 2/28/19. My Discover account they say belongs to Trinity Fountain. I have contacted Discover, they supposedly investigated but they charged the 287.79 back to my account. I ended up paying it just to get the problem out of hte way then I closed my Discover account. I have no idea who or what Trinity Fountain is. Discover obviously has no idea who their account holders are but they'll side with whomever they can profit from when there's a dispute. I'm also going to change my phone service and leave ATT. I don't trust them, I don't know if this Trinity Fountain is under their umbrella or someone posing as being under the ATT Corporate Umbrella. All I know is I never bought anything from Trinity Fountain or ATT for $287.79 and charged it to my Discover account. My ATT phone bill is always about $53/mo and I pay it directly out of my checking account on the ATT website.
