This person, Nola Brown, from a company called Consumer Impact Recovery claimed I owed money, $350 from a payday loan through EZ Money/EZ Corp from 2016. She had all my former information, including place of work, my old address and my relatives names and phone numbers, in which she contacted my brother and harassed him about the amount I owe. I was able to speak to her through my sister who got all the information about the money I owed. They doubled the $350 to $700 owed because of "fees" and such. Following up, we wrote everything down and worked up a payment plan, she actually has sent a couple of emails confirming the payment plan. No money was given, but after all the information was given and I contacted the EZ Pawn, part of the EZ Corp because the number listed out of Idaho wasn't no longer in service. I explained my situation to her and she ran my name throughout their entire database and claimed I owed them nothing and they're not even in CT.
