JW Construction and Remodel owned by Rusty John Wubker Jr. is advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. He also goes by John Wubker and John Smith. He preys on retired, elderly with fixed incomes. At the job sites, he obtains deposits for materials and for sub contractors. Once he deposits the checks, it is very difficult to get hold of him. To avoid speaking with the victims, he has made up a stories such as: he has Covid, he is out of state for a funeral, the stolen property was borrowed. Mr. Wubker business card shows a residence in Salem AR, but he actually lives elsewhere. Mr. Wubker has a forged contractors license which he will present to potential customers (reported to the State Contracting Board).
