Description
I got a few texts which said that they had gotten my information from LinkedIn and I was being offered a data entry job. When I didn't reply to the texts or the emails, they called me and sounded like a legit job offer. The person I talked to was Sophia Miller the HR Manager and the area code was for Washington DC. I did their assessments and used a fake birthdate on the application. (I learned a while ago that using your birthdate was a big no when replying to someone you don't know online). I try to never give out personal info to people I don't know. Anyway, she emailed a time for a call and sent along a pdf of the position and what the job responsibilities would be. During the phone call, she made reference to my getting checks in my name and depositing them into 4 different banks in accounts that I would get later. BIG RED FLAG! I politely refused and blocked her number on my phone. I will also send her emails to my spam folder and report them as such.
