I was approached on LinkedIn then by email, they offer a real job with a real job ID for a bank (BNP Paribas), they overestimate my value and offer higher rate than anyone, then ask for personal information, in this case social security number and ID card. this is not standard for recruiting company at all. its a case of this looks too good to be true therefore I was cautious, they were getting antsy for the personal information, as soon as I started talking about being scammed they got disrespectful. When I refused to provide the social and ID, they proceeded to call repeatedly and seemed to get very frustrated. the company is reportedly in new jerseys, but I could hear background noises of a call center. they are probably in India. Im not sure if the company is real or if they are just using their names and address.
