I booked an online flight with Cheap Fare Guru and within an hour or so I received a call from Last Minute Fare Deal saying the flight was no longer available so for more money I can go on another flight. My husband and myself asked to cancel and we would look for another flight but we were told we would be charged the full amount anyway. Luckily my card did not have the funds at the time so the charge did not go through so I assumed it was cancelled. I got notification that my reservation is on hold so I tried to call the next day because I saw that my original reservation was available and I wanted to change it back to my first choice with another card, but I was on hold for an hour. After looking at the reviews I see the same pattern. I haven't been charged anything yet, but I see they have cancellation fees. I don't feel I should have been forced to book a flight that I didn't want. Now I'm concerned that I will be billed the cancellation fee or the amount of the tickets.
