I received an email about a job that I did apply for on LinkedIn. I was then told the position I applied for was filled but there would be another opening in June. In the meantime, I was offered a position that was essentially the same. The interviewing person was busy so interview questions were asked over email. I was then offered the job and received an email stating that my equipment would be delivered to work from home but the distributor was going through an audit so would only accept money orders at this time. I was asked for my address and phone number and told that a check would be sent for me to deposit into my account to pay the invoice for the equipment. I deposited the check into my checking account and waited until it cleared. Then, I went to the post office and bought money orders and sent them Fedex first overnight to the address of the distributor that I was given. The next day the check bounced in my account and my account was cleaned out.
