Description

The job was posted on linkedin which Directed me to careerstaffing.net. I was contacted a week after I applied by text to interview over zoom or skype. The interview was completely over zoom. When I got the job I was told they send me a check for materials to work from home. When I recieved the check it was by email and I uploaded as they Directed. Before the check processed they said that parts of the check needed to go to specific vendors for software to be installed on the computer I was recieving. I was asked to use zelle which I did. Once they came with the second request I called my Bank because something seemed wrong and it turned out to be a scam. I am a disabled veteran and called work currently and was looking for a part time job. I don't have the money to cover the loss, so now I will end up in collections. I have multiple photos of the conversation and scam names.
