At 7:22pm 2/21/23 I called 251-234-5911 asking about towing services. I initially got the number off of one of the entries from searching towing companies near me. It's called Quality Mobile Towing LLC. The lady I spoke to on the phone took all of my information and told me to text pictures of the car so they could give me a quote. She texted me from 1-848-305-2059. I sent her pictures of the car in the ditch. She quoted me $245 to pull it out of the ditch and told me she'd send me a link to an invoice that I needed to sign it. It took me to a website with an invoice From Rescue Point INC https://app.workiz.com/clientPortal/invoice/********************************************************** She said let me know when you sign it and she processed my card. And gave us a time frame of 30 minutes to 6 minutes for the driver to arrive. I received a call from 1-888-808-3706 at 8:10pm That told us that they would later approximately 70-90 minutes more. @ 8:18pm I received another call from 1-818-722-9397 which told us it would be no more than 1 hour 30 minutes. I was given a masked number of 1-848-305-2059 with an ext #748 I never got the understanding of that. At 10:52 pm I received a call from Pitts and Sons towing that their driver was on his way in 15 minutes. When he arrived.& we explained to him what we'd been dealing with he reached out to his dispatcher of course they had no clue what we were talking about. It appears the scam company called them to set up a service call and gave them our information. So we still had to pay Pitts and Sons $86.58 for their service and we are still out $245. The masked number the scam company gave me texted me at 10:37am today stating " Hello, we are contacting you from the towing company regarding your service to ensure that it was of satisfaction and completed. For any further services needed please give us a call & if you have any questions pertaining to the service that you received from us at this time. contact us at our call back number 1-888-320-2160. Thanks for choosing us for the service and have a great day." My reply was this "No your tow truck guy never showed up. You stole $245 from me and my husband in our time of distress. I will be reporting your no name company aka Rescue Point Inc to the SOS.gov FTC.gov, and the BBB Along with the tactics of how y'all scam people out of money, string them along for hours, then call a different towing company to answer your service calls thinking that is completing the service. NO SORRY! Pits and Sons showed up and pulled us out of the ditch and we paid them for their service! Your company did NOT PROVIDE US WITH ANYTHING EXCEPT WASTED HOURS AND STOLEN MONEY!" Have a nice day! I'm turning over every shred of information I have and I pray y'all do not every get to scam another person."
