1. "Matt William" posted in a Rochester (MI) Community Facebook page about selling Taylor Swift tickets 2. I messaged him inquiring about the tickets on Facebook Messenger 3. We had over 50 mutual friends on Facebook, and his profile said he graduated from my high school 4. I Zelled him the $1,000 from my account to pay for four Taylor Swift tickets to a name Kimberley Boyer- [email protected] 5. He requested more money for a name changing fee on TicketMaster. I denied 6. I requested his phone number (805) 316-3875, which is invalid and comes up as a California area code 7. I told him I know it was a scam and that the money needed to be returned to me 8. He deleted the Facebook profile Please note other names/accounts he tried me to send money to: Venmo- Dina Moran @techdaet3 (last four digits of phone number 0343) Zelle- Robert Soule ([email protected]) Also, I am not sure of the exact location of the scammer. I live in MI. I assumed he did too. His phone number area code is associated with San Luis Obispo, CA.
