Description

On May 18 2021, I purchased a pink Prada-Re-edition 2000 bag from www.klueles.com. I had never purchased from this website before, and there were no reviews I could find, so I paid via PayPal so I could get my money back, in case things went wrong. Klueles claimed that all their products are authenticated by Entrupy, a reputable software that authenticates luxury items, but they do not appear on Entrupy’s Verified Businesses list (https://www.entrupy.com/verified-businesses/) and they kept telling me that they were having “difficulties” generating the certificate. This was the first red flag. All of our communication was done over Instagram, which was also rather sketchy. They do not respond to emails. They also don’t provide you with updates (e.g. when your product has shipped) – YOU have to proactively reach out to them. Finally, I received the bag on June 18 2021, a month later. Right when I opened the package, I noticed immediately that the dust bag looked off. The authenticity cards they included was also for a completely different bag! I have strong suspicions they took the authenticity cards from a different Prada bag and threw it in with my order hoping I wouldn’t notice. Lastly, the bag I received was completely different to the one from the pictures on their website. These clues were enough to cause me to pay out-of-pocket to get the bag authenticated by a third-party authenticator. Lo and behold, they deemed the bag a replica. There are many others who've had similar experiences to me and have shared their experiences online. Unfortunately, these scammers have gone above and beyond to get these reviews removed, and censor customers sharing the truth about their scamming tactics. The owner Marta belongs behind bars. I am absolutely shocked and disturbed that they are continuing to operate two years after my awful experience. I am just grateful I paid with PayPal and when I opened a dispute, my money was refunded immediately because Klueles had a history of disputes. Since my experience, you are no longer able to pay with PayPal and they have even deactivated commenting on their social media platforms to further silence customers coming forward with the truth.
