First approached by a "recruiter" by the name of Brannon Wilshere with an email address of [email protected], informing me of a position at Femtec Health Inc. If I was interested in the position to email the Hiring Manager, "Mr. Jeffrey Johnson" at [email protected]. Contacted the person and was set up for a interview but through email only. I didn't provide my social, but public accessible information which anyone would be able to find if they sought through the internet about me. During this time of the email interview, I looked up the company through indeed, linked it, facebook and each account is set up with the names of CEO and staff. As I passed the interview process, an offer was given and a W4 was sent for completion. However, before I would give a SSN, I did a little more digging. I noticed that I could not find a phone number for the employer. They said they recently acquired Ava Women company, but even that site did not have a phone number. I searched and searched but to no avail. I looked up the supposed HQ of FemTec Health Inc, and noticed that the address is to a residential location and not a buisness complex or any of that sort. I tried calling the "hiring manager" who called me when I wanted to negotiate the rate, but no responses. (side note, I emailed the hiring manager about the issue I was having looking for the companies phone number and an appropriate address, but no responses). I'm pretty sure I alerted them, but my wife recommended for me to check the BBB.org. I forgot all about do so, so that what brings me here. When it is listed through the BBB, it states an "F" but unable to review the comments/reviews. I also utilized my OSINT tools to check IP addresses, DNS, etc. Yesterday, everything was clean. Today, there is starting to show an alert. I'm assuming this is a fairly new scam for this group. Through the interview process and earlier today, they were quick with responses through email. But all of a sudden, silence to my inquiry questions.
