While surfing the internet, I happened upon the scammer’s ad for Keto+ACV gummies. The ad claimed that using the gummies (one per day) over a month or more will result in significant weight loss. There were testimonials from the product users. The ad also included a total endorsement by members of the TV show “Shark Tank “. Since I have diabetes and I would benefit from weight loss, I looked into the ad. The product was on sale, so I viewed several products and their costs. I chose the five (5) bottles for $39.99. I completed the demographic and payment sections and attempted to check out. Before the transaction was verified, there were additional choices to purchase the Keto + ACV gummies as well as other similar products. I accidentally pushed the button for an additional fee of $39.99. My efforts to undo my selection were futile. Before the product arrived, I received a telephone call from a person who claimed that he represented the company. I don't remember his name, but it began with an ‘S’. He wanted to sell me another product that will help maintain the weight loss. I told him that I was not interested. Since an additional product was suggested to maintain weight loss, I asked him to cancel my original order which was not done. I spoke with my endocrinologist about the Keto diet. He advised me not to use the product because of my diabetes. I have attempted to contact Limitless X on numerous occasions by email and telephone. I have not been successful. Consequently, I am filing this BBB complaint. I was overcharged by Limitless X. My desire to cancel the order was ignored. My inability to contact the company to return the product.
