On 12/12/22 I placed an order with jewelry-salesshop.com totaling $108.19. I had trouble with the payment processing function: I submitted my credit card information, another window opened requesting it again. After inputting it a second time I got another page titled Omi Pay with an error message and some text in another language. (please see attached). I tried to checkout again using a different credit card but wasn't sure if it went through. So I submitted a question about it on the website but received no response. I checked my credit card account and it showed a charge for $108.30 (11 cents more than my checkout total had been), so I assumed the payment had gone through and my order would be processed and sent. I then checked my emails to see if I'd gotten an order confirmation from Designs by Gioelli, but I had not. I had received an email from ***** Bank, my credit card issuer, inquiring as to whether I had made the charge. I clicked on Yes. l received no response from Designs by Gioelli, neither an answer to the question I had submitted on their website nor an invoice/confirmation for the order I had placed. On 12/15/22 I accessed the "Contact Us" page of their website where they provide email address [email protected]. I sent an email to that address inquiring about the order I'd placed on 12/12/22. I quickly got a "Permanent Error" email stating, "This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently: * [email protected] Reason: Permanent Error" I then did an online search of the address provided on the website. Zillow shows a private home at that address. It seems this website is a scam: - I received no acknowledgement that my order was placed or processed. - I submitted a question using their online form, I received no response. - I repeatedly attempted to sign up for their newsletter; every time I input my email address then clicked submit, nothing happened. - I sent an email to the provided email address, delivery of my email "failed permanently". - The address provided on the website for the location of the company is a private home. - Since my email to them was rejected, I submitted another request on their website and informed them that if I did not receive a response I would report them for fraud to the FTC, the AG, the BBB, etc. I've received no response.
