Then Tarama Johnson started the chat with me on zoom. Then after a few questions she asked for this: What is the name of the Bank which you currently operate with to see if it tallies financially with the company's official salary payment account? Note: We are not asking for your personal banking information, we're only asking for the name of your bank to know if it tails with the company's official salary payment account. Then she continued: Given that you are ready to perform your duties effectively and efficiently, the company will provide you with the funds to cover the cost of all your home office equipment with the construction of the mini office so you can get started. I hope we can trust you with the company's fund to use it as instructed for the purchase of your working materials. You will be referred to one of the company's certified vendors you are to purchase them from at a discount rate due to the company's long-lasting relationship and agreement with them. The vendor's responsibility would be the installations of all software into a (Brand new 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar and Touch ID) with the required updates and patches before shipping them to you. At this point I asked for their credibility, so I said: Great, and what information can you give me to ensure that this is legitimate? Surely you understand with the cyber security issues companies face today that this is important. Tarama replied: I fully understand your total concerns towards this, but I want to let you know that you have nothing to be worried of at all, this firm has been operating this way for years and within the past years we built up a great reputation across the globe, so everything we tell you here is true and your offer letter document will be sent to you for proper documentation to fully know that you are employed, Am I cleared? I replied: I understand Alida Groups Inc is a well established company. I will see what the next steps here are. If you have any other information about yourself besides your name, that links you to this company, that would be helpful. They did not reply after that. They have my name, female, over age 20, and know what bank I use, but nothing else just the name of the bank. I am assuming they know other information such as email address, street address/phone number if they have seen my resume on a job site.
