I needed support on my HP printer I googled for a phone number for HP support When they answered they said Support Team To speak to a live person press 6 They wanted to share my screen to help. I let them because I thought it was HP First person could not fix the problem and handed it over to a so called senior member or senior advisor He continued and we were disconnected I called back and they put a senior advisor on after I explained what happened. Long story short he explained that he thought someone had been in my computer and there were virisuses that had to be removed and anti virus had to be added. It would take 2 hours to repair. I asked if there was a charge. Over $2000 and how many years do I want the Warranty for. I told him I was a senior on a fixed income and there was no way I could afford that. Next he offered me senior pricing. Told him it was still too high and I would have to discuss with my children. Conversation ended and I hung up. No case number. They were in my computer so I do not know what information they might have taken
