I was texted by Brat Roy the hiring mgr. for Dr.pepper advertising (supposedly) to have a sticker placed on my car for advertising purposes. They delivered (by priority mail through the USPS!) a check for $3,470.00 sent from (per the return address on the envelope) Hewlett-Packard Enterprise at 6280 america center drive, San Jose Ca 95002. I was instructed to deposit the check through my bank and to go inside to do it (or I could do it through an ATM) and told that the check would clear almost immediately. Then, I am to provide a date and time as well as a location (asap) for a specialist to come out and install the decals. They said that they will issue a signed agreement that they are liable to remove the said decals at the end of the expired program. Here’s the kicker: I’m to deduct my weekly payment and deposit the balance for the specialist. To confirm all this I'm supposed to send a picture of the deposit slip using SMS to 1-661-441-8153. I have kept all the info the sent me and the texts plus the check (not deposited) in case it is needed at anytime.
