Description
Someone posted a picture of a greenhouse on Facebook stating that Tractor Supply was selling overstock greenhouses for $9.95 if you filled out their survey. This Facebook user posted a link to the survey in the comments. In the comments other users had replied with pictures of a greenhouse talking about how the thought it was a scam but it wasn’t. I clicked the link and was directed to allegedly a Tractor Supply survey, I was the redirected to Tractor Supply’s supplier website which ended up being www.xpmill.com and asked to input payment information for a $9.99 greenhouse. Upon putting in payment information a pop-up appeared on the screen for a membership gift card when I tried to exit out of it the pop-up immediately went away and said that I had accepted the offer. I was given no order finalization screen to make any changes or cancellations to my order. When I attempted to contact customer service over the issue less than 24 hours later, they apologized for “confusing” terms but stated that there was nothing the could do other than cancel the membership. This membership they were trying to charge me for was to be $63.40 every 2 weeks. I was mislead about the order and swindled through pop-up offers with no way to disagree to/deny them:
