SmartSolve AI: Tutor and math help is a SUBSCRIPTION based service. When i started the 4 day free trial, the quality of the service was horrible, so i decided to cancel my subscription less than 24 hours after starting the free trial. They make it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. To cancel the subscription. Initial Cancel attemp 1 via the website: the website said unable to cancel because my account was still being created. Under “contact us”, the only thing available was an Ai chatbot telling me I had to email them and wait 2 business days for a response. When i did receive a response it was an AI generated generic email telling me to cancel on the website. So i went back to the website to cancel and when i got through to cancel, and went through the process to cancel. St the end of the process it never said my subscription was cancelled. And i never received an email confirmation regarding the cancellation. I did this 10 more times with still no cancellation confirmation. So I emailed them AGAIN. And got the generic “cancel on the website” email again. Then come today, I got charged $14.99 for the subscription. I attempted to call them via the number I found on the google play website: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/smartsolve-ai-homework-tu/lamlihfgchoafpnomkjblficpfeonace I called the number listed and it rang, but the voicemail is listed as a google voicemail, its not a real phone number with an attached cell phone. When googling the address, it came up as a retired living facility. I called my bank and i have to call them back once the charge posts to my account to file a dispute charge so they can get my money back. There are TWO smart solve applications. One is a legit one with real reviews and the other is this smart solve ai: tutor and math subscription. The tutor and math is the complicated and scam like. There are hundreds of reviews of people saying its a scam on the apple app store. So this business has been doing this for a while and it’s not okay.
