I'm a job seeker and I responded to a job posting for a Remote Administrative Assistant at CarolXpert Consulting. The first red flag was the fact that they weren't found on LinkedIn, but I thought maybe they were a new company, they have a professional looking website. I submitted my resume and was asked to do a series of behavioural tests via Test Gorilla. Today I received a job offer with a nice salary! Which is great, but I doubt any company would hire someone without speaking to them and interviewing them first. I believe their main office number is a cell phone. When I Google my supposed new manager's name, nothing comes up. LinkedIn shows her with 1 connection (Kayla Petersen, Financial Manager). My resume shows my email and phone number and town that I live in...I have not provided my SIN or anything like that, but I'm guessing that they would ask for that next if I was to move forward with the bogus application. I'm hoping to raise a red flag to have them investigated so no other, less experienced job-seekers are taken advantage of! I have a very uneasy feeling about the legitimacy of this company!
