Rick L. Perez is the name this scammer goes by. I picked a dog and he said it would be $1100 + $200 for shipping. I’ve sold dogs myself so it sounded reasonable. All was well the cashapp payments went through and the I got my tracking number. Well first off let me say I negotiated to a half payment. I would deposit for them to ship the dog and I would pay the rest when I got the dog. So I started with $1300 then I got an email from Safeway global pet movers. Due to a lawsuit my dog now needed insurance was their claim. I did research and you don’t legally need insurance for a hour flight trip. But was like okay whatever I guess. Then they said he needed a fancy crate with a/c and climate control. See this is where i started feeling iffy. Another $2000 but i made them go half. The next day they say they needed money for feeding him since he was staying over night. Then he threw up before getting on the plane so he needed shots from the vet. But the dog was already vaccinated. Then I woke up this morning Feb 3rd, 2026 and they wanted $900 for a vet bill. I lost it and told them I’d file law suits against them.
