After I had been searching for a dating site, I had an ad for MeetMyAge.com. It looked legit. I signed up for a month trial. next thing I know, It quickly started feeling fishy, so I did a little Internet research, and it seemed to be a classic scam. Super quick and lengthy responses with weird language from men (e.g "cozy"). AI suggested the few pictures I showed it were fake. Seemed like I would get quick-fire replies to my communication, but none initiated. Couldn't get anyone to text - just "communicate" on the app. Then I had an erroneous charge for "communication credits". I contacted the company to get a refund and got the runaround. None of the "people" who responded from customer support had LinkedIn profiles, so I don't think they are real either. I resolved with Citibank for refunds and to replace my credit card. While I was doing that however, I realized two additional fraudulent charges that the bank agent felt were connected to the dating app scammer. Again, my card has been cancelled and replaced.
