Description

I was reached out to via phone call today around 4:30pm. I was offered a position of "Package Handler" and was told right away that I wouldn't be receiving payment for my work until one month later for their "probationary period." Afterwards it would be bi-weekly. I was informed that it would be a few hours a day (3 hours a day or whenever I get finished with my work) picking up parcels from stores 10-20 miles away from my location, bring them home and have a printer available to print labels. I was then told that I would receive a $35 bonus if I shipped packages out before the deadline, which I believe they told me would be within 3 days of receiving the package. I did not receive typical interview questions nor did they ask about my work background or experience with this position. They just offered me the job within the first 1 minutes of speaking with me after verifying who I was by first name. They wanted to confirm I was make the trips, pick up the packages, process the information, print the labels ( they asked a few times if i had a printer ready for use) and send the packages off in the time frame they expected. I was then told to fill out the employment form to move forward with the process. They have asked for both sides of my I.D card to be uploaded along with my birth certificate and social security card. After I send them that email, I was told to be on the look out for an email from her boss with further instructions. They told me to get it done as soon as the phone call was done. The "email" the have provided has no real email address and just the name "Alexandra". The email was originally sent to spam.
