This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I received a email, claiming that I owed $4959.50, and that I had 6 hours to respond. This is an email apparently from Cash Advance, and I have never got money from Cash Advance, nor anyone else. But also checked all my credit reports, and nothing popped up on there saying I owed any of this debt, so I knew that it would have to be a scam.
