Description
I found a price half what other places charge for an item I need. I ordered the item and was charged shipping. The website pretended to be in Canada. I thought all was well until a few hours later when I received an email from something calling itself "faina" saying my payment was successful and my item had already shipped. I knew I'd been had because the email text and content was an almost exact copy of an email I received from another scammer last month. That email came from something calling itself "fala". The tracking number was from a Chinese company known to be associated with Chinese scammers, "track718". That was the same scam I fell for previously and eventually the bogus tracking said my item was delivered by the "post office" on a Sunday, which of course was an obvious lie. I immediately responded to the email I had received within minutes and told the place to immediately cancel that order. That never happened and I am in the process of disputing the charges as well as locking my credit card.
