I was contacted by phone through text about a remote work job opportunity. Upon completion of a training period (taking screenshots RCS communication, joining a WhatsApp group) I was given access to the globaltubitv-online.com platform as a user who is paid a commission to upload five star reviews to the platform. Where the scam comes into play, is your account balance an run into the negative which requires a cash infusion to 'zero' the account so that you can continue your 'work order' (movie reviews). In order to do this (and disguise the scam / fraudulent activity), they require the users to open & register for a crypto wallet so that the money earned and even deposited to the Tibi TV platform is filtered through this crypto wallet on a daily basis. When you run into a negative balance, they trick users into thinking that you are lucky, offering a message of congratulations, assuring you that, upon zeroing the account and continuing with the work order, you will receive your full funds in return plus the increase in profit for the 'combo order'. I was told by my trainer that these instances are rare, fortunate, and that, when encountered, you will have accrued sufficient resources to not be concerned about it at all. As it turns out, upon my fourth use of the platform, I ran into -three- of these negative balances in the same work order, asking for a total of lose to $1000 dollars over three separate transactions to zero the account, which conveniently for the scam, has to be done before completing an order and getting your money and commission profits granted / refunded. Needless to say, I did not complete this work order, and the negative balance for each combo increased exponentially each time I ran into it (first $50, then $150, then $200, finally over $500). DO NOT FALL FOR THIS LIKE I DID, this is 100% a scam, and apparently Tubi TV as a platform already had a class action lawsuit just a couple years ago (2024). I am lucky I didn't lose any more money, but wow what a genius, clever, insidious scam this is. The potential to earn money seems very real it the potential to lose (and gamble) is even higher.
