Hillary Gillis advertises as a personal chef. We hired her for a dinner for 6 people and paid her $995. She took the money, and cancelled the event five hours before the dinner. She said she would refund our money ASAP. It's been over two months and she has made multiple excuses about why she hasn't paid us. She claimed Venmo locked her out for 30 days and then sent us an unsigned check that could not be deposited. Now she has ghosted us and declined our Venmo request. Bottom line: she cancelled her service, kept our money, and stopped responding.
