Description
Scammer billed Medicare and my secondary insurance United Health Care approximately $16,000 for urinary tract supplies which I never received/never ordered/never needed/have never been treated for - I have no urinary tract issues. I believe my medical information was compromised by a data breach sometime in 2025 at my allergist's office - Allervie - in Cincinnati, OH - maybe during a switchover from private practice to a corporate purchase takeover. I reported this to Medicare and both Medicare and United Health advised me to report it to BBB. I was surprised. United Health told me they had to keep paying these false claims as long as vendor had a valid number. No wonder there is so much fraud in the system!
