I received a text, call and text stating that "James" was interested in having my business, which a photography business, featured in their menu brochure. After having several conversations about what it would entail I decided to move forward. They sent me a contract and outlined the design process of my ad. They also sent me a questionnaire to help design the ad and additional text for the "full page" spread. They stated that it would start running in 2026, this was around September 2025. After finishing payment, the questionnaire and approving the design I didn't hear anything else from them. As the months went on, I got curious as to when I would receive my own copy. As 2026 started and I still hadn't heard anything, I inquired via email and got notification that the email address was "undeliverable." I then sent a text to the original number I had been in contact with "James" and still haven't heard back. I then started looking on line and tried the website again, which went to something completely different. After my "research" I determined that it was a complete scam. $500 lost, along with a lot of time designing and answering questions. I'm very disheartened.
